He attacked swiftly then, knowing she would be ready regardless of his verbal taunts. This Greek woman was fun, but he was beginning to get bored. He knew he could defeat her easily, but his passion for battle wasn’t there. He had already started thinking about his beautiful desert rose and the ways they might celebrate his victories.
What he needed to do was to get rid of the Greek woman without wasting any more of his time or energy. The easiest way would be to let her think she won their battle. But that thought was just to revolting for him to seriously consider. He would have to find another way.
