Anteros was torn. There was a large part of him that wanted to punish the ones who had hurt Lottie, even if one was his own brother. It was his duty... his calling, and it was a job that he was quite good at. But Philotes didn't want him to hurt Nicolas or Eros.
It was strange seeing his brother all vulnerable and confused. It was obvious that Eros had not meant this to happen, but still he had caused Friendship pain and heartbreak.
The erote held Lottie tightly. He took a deep breath and tried to shove away his anger. While avenging broken hearts defined him, the victim had to come first.
"What would you like me to? I am more than willing to take vengeance on your behalf, all you have to do is say the word,' Anteros told Lottie. "It matters not if it is the mortal or my flesh and blood or both."
His dark eyes stared at Eros. "I will abide by whatever Lottie decides, but I will not forget the heartache you have caused."
