He couldn't help it, but a smile crossed his face when Lottie punched Eros in the shoulder. It had a bit of force behind it as well, not as much as if he had thrown it, but then again, he wouldn't have gone for the shoulder as a target.
The smile disappeared as soon as Philotes mentioned Harmonia's name. His sister had gotten a raw deal, and he hadn't acted, not that he knew what he would have done, but a part of him felt like he should have done something instead of failing her. While he couldn't change what had happened with Harmonia, he could act on Lottie's behalf.
His strong arms enfolded Friendship into a hug. Anteros' grip tightened, hoping to let his friend know that he was there to protect her. "It's ok, Lottie. I'll take care of him. The pain he'll feel will make yours pale in comparison."
It was strange to see Eros at a loss. There was a part of him that felt sorry for his brother, but knowing that Lottie was crying because of him stoked his anger.
"Do you ever consider the consequences when you shoot your arrows?" Anteros growled. "I would certainly hope that you wouldn't think to hurt anyone, especially not a friend, especially not in the name of love."
The erote's dark eyes studied his brother. Finally Eros had said something that made sense. "I think that is a question that only Lottie can answer, but just tell me his name and where I can find him. Once I make him pay, then I'll decide what you deserve..."
