Peitho was greatly enjoying this, probably more than she should given the society but then again, she was far older than every person in this room except Lottie, and they didn't discuss age. Her friend had started something and the goddess would continue it on through completion. It was stuffy enough at times that a bit shaking up of things from time to time was for the best. It wasn't often that Lottie started something leading to trouble, it was usually the other way around but it was almost always the two of them when it happened. Petty wouldn't have it any other way either, and Lottie starting it, well that was just fun she couldn't deny it.
She rolled her eyes as she heard the admonishing from others, but she didn't care. She held on to Lottie's hand as they moved to the dance floor determined to make their tongue wag if nothing else. Peitho was supposed to be a good upstanding person, wasn't she? But oh wait, no, she was Aphrodite's daughter and sister to the Erotes. Good? Not so much.
The thought did make her grin a bit too much.
Mimicking Philotes only opposite, Peitho held her friend close, as close as one could in layers and corsets but it was definitely close enough. She grinned at her friend and gave her hand another squeeze, and she could see peripherally the expressions of those around them who had stopped dancing to gawk.
"Last chance to stop," she said teasingly just before the music started. Teasing because she wasn't about to not let this go. She knew Philotes enough to know what she was determined.
Both were used to dancing but not leading so it didn't start well and it made Peitho laugh. "Apologies dearest." She held her again and smiled. "I'll lead. Let's see if you can keep up," she added giggling as she pulled Philotes off again twirling her around, her gathered train fluttering behind her.
