"BIFROST?" Tyr stared in disbelief. "You are so far from Bifrost, you can't even imagine. Why would you take this fawn there?"
"Look, you have a lot more to fear here than just the wolves. I'm Tyr, and these woods are named for me. Which means I am very familiar with them. Long before you find our Bridge, you will pass a lake. And trust me when I tell you that you don't want to meet what's in there."
Everyone in the area knew the tales of the strange creatures that lived there, and the Nix that had made a deal that ended in a young girl giving her life. Such beings were not to be tempted by outsiders.
Tyr squatted down to pet the fawn. He understood, and at the same time felt it was a fool's errand. Without looking at her, he continued to speak, petting the fawn all the while.
"That's if you avoid all the outlaws around here. I get you're a goddess, but a swarm of those vile evildoers might prove to be too much to handle even for you." There was no telling what they might do- well, there was, but it was too horrible to think on.
Finally standing, he looked the goddess in the eye. "Why are you trying to take this fawn to Asgard in the first place?"
