If there was a response she was expecting, that wasn't it. Though, Frigg wasn't entirely sure what she had expected. Perhaps for him to recoil because he wouldn't understand the burden she carried, just like her mother had. Or for him to lecture her about the inappropriateness of this entire conversation. So when Odin said that nothing would get back to her mother, she breathed a sigh of relief.
When he extended his hand to her and made the offer, Frigg smiled up at him slowly. Then she took his hand and stood. It hadn't gone exactly the way she had planned, but she was, it seemed, getting what she wanted. At least it appeared that way. Whether or not exactly what she wanted came to fruition or not remained to be seen. This was just going to pave the way.
Now, she was just going to have to prove she was worth it. Frigg knew she was, but did he?
She would let him lead and set the pace for the most part. She may have been skilled at getting her way with others, but they were but boys in comparison to the man who's hand she was holding. Frigg would stand her ground when and where she needed to, but the decision of whether or not she accomplished her goal lay in his hands.
