Odin watched her sharply as she spoke, focusing all his attention on her words. No small feat for a man used to admiring a woman for something other than her thoughts.
"There is nothing of tonight your mother will hear of from me."
Perhaps Frigg would be disappointed that it was his only response at the moment. But she had told him much that needed to be digested. She could see things, things in the distant future. He might have thought she was playing with him- for it was easy to say he would bring a boy when it had already happened. But he knew by her non-verbal cues that she was telling the utter truth.
Such a gift! Odin could only imagine the burden that came with such power. And she was cleverly using it to her own advantage. At last, he broke the continuing silence.
"It is not only my bed you seek, is it my dear?" The idea was no less appealing to Odin. To have such a companion, not only beautiful but clever and well-versed in the ways of the Seer- it was beyond his imaginings.
"Come." He stood then, extending a hand to her. "Let us see what we could accomplish together."
