Her reaction amused Odin. It was obvious he had been right- young Frigg was up to something. She quickly regained her composure, however, and turned the tables back on her ruler, calling his bluff.
He knew she was up to something. He knew seduction and feigned innocence were a part of how she was going to go about getting it. Beyond that, he really didn't have a clue. For all he knew she wanted a new pony or a pretty new dress. On second thought, that latter would be provided by her mother. One thing Odin did not have was adept sewing skills.
But before he could suggest what he knew thus far, Frigg yet again surprised him. Odin reached for the horn automatically, but did not drink. What did she mean by that?
"Is there something you should be telling me? I assumed this was all a ploy to try to entice me to your bed, perhaps with the promise of something else afterward. But if someone is keeping secrets from me and you are helping them, Frigg..."
He let the sentence trail off. The threat did not need specifics, and his frown would clearly indicate. If, for all his efforts, things were happening he was blind to, it did little to reinforce his position.
"Those kinds of games do not amuse me." If she was using flirtation as a means to hide or reveal some big secret, it was a dangerous game to play with a man more than willing to take any woman up on such an offer.
