He brushed the excess leaves from his hands; an amount of the poultice remained though he paid no mind to it. The soil from the earth and the oils of the crushed plant gave off a scent that was pleasant and grounding.
She was... surprised? Maybe. It was difficult to interpret that look, as it came and went all too quickly for Thor to really gauge the sentiment behind it. But, whatever it was; she did not appear to be backing away in fear, hitting him, drawing a weapon; or any other reaction that might have indicated she knew who he was and did not think too fondly of him. Which was possible. He was liked among his own pantheon, but there had been battles between Norse and Greek; and it was difficult to discern particular loyalties until you made your introduction and your origins known.
But then, he smiled. A genuine expression that spread to all of the corners of his face; softening the harsh angles a bit. Because she had thought well of his first impression, and that was unexpected. Not everyone appreciated him barging in abruptly to defend their honor against every slight. Especially when it was always a violent display, rather than a carefully worded threat or insult. He knew all too well that words could cut just as deeply as any blade, and in some ways they were a far greater and more damaging weapon. Sif had harnessed that skill to perfection, in his opinion. She did not confess her infidelity in a boastful sense, but it was the space in between her chosen words that crushed him the most at the time, because of the lack of emotion. He was burning from within and she had regarded him with detachment, never matching what he felt; though he'd been too blinded to see it for what it was. He had felt her indifference seep into each word, and it was far worse than any physical blow.
There was a short laugh at her question; he was somewhat puzzled. "I may not be entirely welcome among the villagers from now on, but yes, I'm alright." His tone was a bit wry, light heartedly assuming she was asking after his physical well being. Which was fine, of course; because it was always that way. His body could take a great deal of damage. Everything else, not quite as much.
He felt no remorse for the man who had been left crumpled on the ground in agony, as he was a thief, and his actions upon her had greatly offended Thor. He had his life though, and that was more than most got away with. Thor's moral barometer was on the side of good, though he was not always lenient or wise about it. He did not hurt those that did not do something, in his mind; to warrant it; but he was still brash and rushed into situations without a thought for the greater harm that might be caused by his impatience. Because she had been there, she'd helped him to avoid a potentially hectic situation by leading him away from the environment that had so ignited his emotional state.
Thyone called him something other than his name earlier, he noticed; a formal title. That was very peculiar. Then again, that was becoming the tone of this entire introduction. He didn't mind, though. It just meant he would likely end up bombarding her with questions so that he could satiate his curiosity. But she had sounded respectful; and so he just assumed it was just a custom he hadn't recognized. He had friends that were Greek, but there were quite a few differences between each pantheon, and there was much Thor hadn't familiarized himself with yet. Perhaps he could convince her to teach him at some point. Assuming she would agree to his sharing company again. He hoped that she would.
"Could we?" He gestured, shifting his weight but not stepping in any direction yet, without her approval. He preferred movement at the moment, and it was simply too amazing of a landscape for him to not want to explore. But this was her temple and her domain, therefor he showed the respect that was warranted for such a circumstance.
