Moving through Concept was not exactly foreign; but this was the first time he'd done so with a complete stranger. His grip tightened instinctively, fingers linked in hers as they departed one section of the world, on their way to the next.
He had no expectations for what sort of place she might be taking him, and when they arrived, it took a moment for him to register the environment. His eyes widened, taking it all in. It was breath taking, and there were no words for it. Perhaps if he had Bragi, he could assist him in coming up with a suitable description, worthy of such an amazing location. But he felt certain even his very eloquent brother might be stunned into a brief silence.
The tension and the hustle of the market place dissolved, replaced by only the sounds of the natural world. The water and the earth embraced them from every direction. There were no humans, no gods; nothing. Just sun, and trees, and green, and her hand still in his.
Perhaps he should have let go, now that they were clearly no longer in a threatening situation. But he was always the one to pull back last. Hugs and embraces typically lasted for as long as the other person determined; as Thor was never made uncomfortable by physical affection. His family hugged back the longest, the most hearty. Where as, of his friends; Thanatos was likely the most reluctant and rarely reciprocal; though it never dissuaded Thor from doing so during each greeting and departure. To Than's credit; after a few centuries he'd at least stopped sighing in disdain whenever it happened. Which was a start.
Everything here was so vibrant, and lush; and wonderfully alive. It was a balm to his inflamed senses. He found it impossible to hold onto the anger, now that he was surrounded by an environment that simply didn't support it. The tension began to seep from his body and his shoulders lowered.
He turned, slowly surveying everything in sight with a kind of youthful enthusiasm. Thor loved the earth; almost as much as he loved the ones who were dear to him; and he felt a deep reverence at the sight stretched out before him. It wasn't a landscape he was incredibly familiar with. Most of the trees and plants he knew the names of; but the overall shape of the land and the body of water in front of where they stood weren't recognizable. But there were many corners of Midgard he had not yet seen, and he felt a speechless appreciation for the fact that she'd taken him to a place that so captured his delight the instant he set eyes on it.
He looked down at her, the harsh quality of his tone from earlier had faded. "This is... remarkable." The land, the water. Everything. If she'd thought to take him somewhere in an effort to ambush him once he'd let down his defense, this was certainly the place. He was out of his element and beginning to relax, it would have been the perfect opportunity to strike. But again; instinct had told him there was no malicious intent behind her offer, and so he believed it. For having known betrayal as he did, perhaps it wasn't wise to blindly follow such instincts; but it was just how he operated.
There was a temple, on top of hill just behind where they stood; that caught his attention then. "... Where are we?"
