part 2
What he saw sparked his fury immediately. It appeared as though someone was attempting to strangle a woman; but he couldn't quite see among the bodies of the crowd. Few things enraged Thor more than witnessing someone being taken advantage of or overpowered. His temper was easily triggered by much less; but this was specific source of outrage.
The man made the mistake of running in the direction of Thor; in his hasty escape. Thor angled his body towards him, grabbing the man by the shoulder and successfully halting his escape. He didn't bother with threats, or questions of indignation. He simply looked at the man; as if surveying an object rather than a person, and in that brief moment he noticed the item that hung from his closed fist.
A necklace of some kind. Apparently he had been nothing but a sloppy thief, rather than a murderer. Not like it mattered at this point. He'd hurt her. And that was unacceptable. The man squirmed, still attempting to escape though it was of no use; Thor held him in place securely. "Give me that." A low, gravelly command; to which the thief responded quickly, opening his hand. Then, with more force than was necessary, Thor threw his body aside; sending the man colliding into the wall of one of the nearby dwellings.
The anger was still radiating off him in waves as he strode through the quickly parting crowd, completely oblivious to the attention he'd attracted; as his focus was solely on her. He stopped in front of her, barely registering the faint electric hum that cued him in to the fact that this was more than just a mortal of Midgard. Thor held out the necklace, "Are you alright?" His approach was a bit abrupt, and his chest was still heaving a bit; more so from the anger rather than any actual exertion. There was always a concern for those he felt were mistreated; and it showed in his eyes, even with the violence he'd displayed moments ago.
