It appeared that he was willing to compromise after all, so he wasn't a total child. And she could admit that her own behavior had probably not helped even it was inadvertently done. They just needed to make it through the next day or two without killing one another and then they could go their separate ways and attempt to avoid each other if at all possible. With planning and luck, they could conceivably go years without having to see one another again.
Sigyn had no idea why that idea was somewhat depressing. And she wasn't going to look into it that deeply to find out, either.
While Loki worked on adding another to the flames, Sigyn gathered the prepared food together and move to his side of the fire. The temperature difference was immediately noticeable, and she was relieved that Loki had made the suggestion. And when Loki returned to sit down, not only did his body block some of the cold air that was flowing around the fire, the heat of him was noticeable as well. There were advantages to sitting next to a fire giant, apparently. Sigyn nearly sighed in relief from the warmth now coming her way.
Instead she offered Loki a small cup of the porridge and a nicely charred chunk of the rabbit, trying to avoid thinking about how nicely warm he was. And how it would be lovely if he sat just a little bit closer. And how it would be easier to get through the cold tonight if he was lying right next to her.
Sigyn brought herself up short after that thought. And reminded herself it was only going to be a day or two. She just needed to wait out the storm.
