Whatever response Sigyn might have expected, the words “have you ever kissed a slug” were not included, not in any scenario she would have imagined. Who even had that in their brain? Well, Bragi apparently. It was quite a visual to begin with, and that's just what it was. The beginning. Because he was still talking. About kissing slugs.
In spite of the topic, she found herself drawn into the story. Though she was currently ready to slap the smirk off Idun's face, Sigyn couldn't help but smile slightly when Bragi over-exaggerated about his wife's reaction to his childhood love. And then they were back to the slugs, though she had no idea exactly how one would go about punching a slug. Wouldn't it just... squish?
Well maybe not, if it was like a slimed up rock. Really, a rock? Sigyn had never considered the creatures quite that hard. They'd always looked sort of gelatinous to her, so she could certainly see the slimy part. Even the tree sap part. Definitely the quivering part. The rock part? Not so much. Then again, maybe the creature went stiff at the prospect of being kissed by a dirty, little boy. She'd yet to see a seven year old male that wasn't dirty somehow.
Then he reached the punchline of his tale, and Sigyn blinked. He was saying the kiss Loki and Idun shared was disgusting? How was that possible? Then the logical portion of her brain kicked in and she realized that she'd find kissing Thor utterly revolting. If they didn't find one another attractive, it was possible they wouldn't have enjoyed the kiss. And while Loki was usually charming, he had his moments. So, it could be true.
But she needed a few more minutes to think about that. So what she said was, “Did you get the girl? With your slug-kissing antics? Little girls are generally not fond of slimy things.”
