That made Idun laugh. The pink hair was clearly doing its job. Who wanted to mess with the goddess with crazy streaks in her hair? If Idun hadn't been grinning already, the building energy would've tipped her right into the exuberant expression. This was all so exciting and brilliant and happy, and even before the most recognizable notes had a chance to burst through the stadium, everybody in the crowd was braced and ready. She loved the fact that she was sharing this moment, this whole experience, with Melinoe. Idun knew it was kind of cheating since she'd been looking for Melinoe all along, but as the song began and the goddess continued to grip her hand, Idun instantly realized that she would've been just as excited by her company if they had only met by chance.
With a firm hold on Melinoe's hand and a very stubborn way of bopping through a crowd that was not all that willing to make room for said bopping, the pair of them navigated their way through the song, bouncing and dancing and, on Idun's end of things, flailing a bit with her free hand while tossing her pink-streaked hair this way and that in a music-fueled fit of enthusiasm. She couldn't remember the last time she'd had this much fun. Not in the moment, anyway. With all the sugary music and the excited people creating the most amazing ambiance ever, how could anything top this?
And then Idun decided they definitely could top this evening. The concert wouldn't be the end of it! Topping a Concert Only evening would be a piece of cake, because they were going to get a drink. And then another drink. And they would be bonded for life after that, because Idun knew a thing or two about girl talk under the influence.
The song sadly ended, but Melinoe kept her grin in place with her compliment. "Thank you!" she exclaimed. Her heart was racing in the greatest way ever. They were both glistening with sweat and Idun didn't mind in the slightest. "I love that you're glowing neon! You look so wonderful! We have to get a drink after this. We'll find a fun bar and then put Cyndi on the jukebox so this perfection doesn't have to end!"
