She was uncomfortable and relaxed at the same time, if that made any sense. Uncomfortable because of where she was and what she was here to ask of Hypnos, but no matter how she fought it, her body and mind were calming and relaxing. There was something alarmingly soothing about Sleep's domain. It wasn't even the type of relaxation that would have Iris curled up with with a scroll, submerging herself in what tales the mortals weaved. It was the type of relaxation that made her want to...
Yawn.
She wanted to yawn.
Iris fought the urge to do so and her face showed it. She needed to give her orders, wait for Hypnos' response and then get out of the Underworld as fast as she could. Then she could go home and nap. Wait, nap? Iris didn't nap. She didn't have time for naps. Hera kept her quite busy and even if she didn't, the Rainbow couldn't imagine wasting precious time by napping.
Her wings flexed just a slight bit and she shook the feeling away as best she could. Looking at him, she gave Hera's decree, “Quiet, peaceful Hypnos... you who gift ease from exhaustion. Ceyx, son of Eosphorus, has perished. His wife, Alcyone, daughter of Aeolus, is to be informed of his loss at sea. Send your Dreams to her. Show her. This Hera commands of you.” And then, fight it as she might... Iris yawned.
