Before Bragi knew what was happening, his knife was suddenly stolen right from his hand. He would have reacted like a normal theft victim and shouted 'HEY' or tried to retrieve his property, but Bragi didn't feel like a normal theft victim. It was like Thor's hammer had been taken off his chest, and he could breath normally again. Someday he'd be able to explain to her that she wasn't allowed to get captured in random people sized nets that might belong to frost giants anymore. Someday, Bragi would be able to explain that since he'd met her there were a couple new rules. They were even more important than Odin's, and she had to follow them. One was that she wasn't allowed to get herself in mortal peril and worry him like this. People nets were a direct violation.
But now the crisis was averted. The sound of sawing put Bragi at ease and he could fully appreciate how lovely her 'You're welcome' had sounded. It hadn't quite sounded like a 'You're welcome' at all. Bragi might have heard a few other things with it. He wasn't sure. It was hard to nail down the specifics. But there was something definitely there. “Sometimes” Bragi answered. “It depends on the lines.” He smirked. Bragi could smirk as much as he wanted, because she was pointedly not looking at him. The fact that she was pointedly not looking at him, made Bragi want to smirk a lot.
“No. I don't tend to travel with knives” Bragi said, “I don't really use them much so I rarely have one with me. But I know someone who has them who doesn't live too far from here.” It would have taken too long if Bragi had gone all the way back to the hall to fetch his own. He glanced up as the hole in the net grew. He eyed the distance back to the ground. “Just slide out.” Bragi suggested, “I'll catch you. That way you won't get hurt. ”
