Hypnos sighed. Or he tried to. It was a little difficult when being smothered by a face-level bosom, but the desire to sigh was definitely there because Hybris missed his point entirely. Family was always welcome, but he preferred that they announce themselves first because he enjoyed his sleep. He would have liked to have known she was coming over prior to making his tea and lying down for his nap. But he had a feeling if he pointed out such trivialities they would simply go over Hybris' head.
And not only because she was floating.
One thing Hypnos could say for Hybris: out of all his siblings, except Thanatos, she understood the dreamscape nature of his home, something that had been amplified with the addition of his children. Than was there too often to be surprised or impressed by it any longer. It seemed to make some of the others a bit uncomfortable that anything they could imagine could become reality. But Hybris took full advantage of it and seemed to enjoy doing so.
Normally, that would make Hypnos smile. He did love his sister, all of his sisters, and his brothers as well. He liked when they were happy, and if floating made Hybris happy, wonderful. Except she was currently floating down his hallway toward his bedroom. Where he'd been planning to take a nap until she showed up.
One hand reached up languidly, just in time to get a grasp on her ankle and halt her progress. “Yes. That is tea. My tea. If you would like some, sister, you only need ask. I will make you your own.”
That seemed a simpler solution than letting her into his bedroom. Perhaps if he made the tea sufficiently strong enough, she would wish to nap too. One one of the lounges or couches or divans strewn about his temple. Wouldn't that be perfect?
