Hybris didn't particularly favor one sibling over the other. Well, that was a complete lie, but today she couldn't figure out which she did like better, which lead her on a quest to revisit the ones she hadn't seen in a while.
One of those, was in the form of a sleepy god named Hypnos.
There was lots to love about sleep. Even if it robbed you of time to be awake and do all sorts of things, it was a great healer of headaches and other things. Really, sleeping in until noon after a rager? Priceless. So she supposed her brother had some redeeming qualities, even if they were one note.
The closer she came to his temple, the more she remembered about it, down to the dreamscape. He might not have been the god of dreams, but he birthed the little monsters. Some were great, others were annoying. Most of them were just plain weird. The wonderful thing about his temple, she recalled as she stepped over the threshold, was the way she could amplify her amazingness.
She shined brightly, dimming out all else. Her clothes became elegant and flowy, hugging at her every curve. Yes, this was one of her favorite places to be.
And she took a moment to drop her neckline and inch or five.
"Hypnos," her voice rang out in a rather sing-songy voice. "Brother, you should learn how to welcome guests," she said in a chiding tone. Obviously there should've been a parade laying in wait for her, even if he didn't know she was coming.
