Opportunity Knocks [Aquitaine, 16 CE] (tag: Rosmerta)
Pothos was getting bored. It was becoming very difficult to find someone that he had not already seduced. Not that it was ever bad being with the same person more than once, he had many repeat lovers. There was just something about getting someone new to agree to have sex with you that was just special. That hardly covered the feeling he got when the sexual longing from someone hit him. If it was someone new, it was just that much sweeter. And the passion was at an all time high.
He left Greece to find greener pastures. Or at least newer people. Even if he couldn’t find anyone that appealed to him, it would be nice to have a change of scenery. He had heard that some of the Gaelic and Celtic lands were very beautiful. Those sounded like good places to start. Gaul was closer, so that was the best place to start.
Poth liked the ocean; something he suspected was from his father because of weather part of his aspect. He wasn’t sure how one would lead to the other, but it was as good a theory as any. He went to an area called Gallia Aquitania by the Romans. The locals just called it Aquitaine. It was on the coast, so he was able to look at the water while he scouted for some new blood.
As he made his way through the providence, he took the time to admire the local scenery. Mostly the female scenery, but there were some very attractive men there, too. He was really starting to appreciate the beauty of Gaul. And it was very beautiful right over there near the market.
Passion spotted a very pretty woman. He was extra pleased when he felt the familiar tingle that told him that she was most likely a goddess. He did always love meeting gods from different pantheons. He started smiling, casually walking towards her. He stopped near her and started looking at some of the produce at one of the stalls. He wanted to see if she noticed him.
