The wings were so large they stretched past the edges of her tub when he stood. That was something she hadn't considered when she helped him up, but it was an unavoidable issue now. Because as soon as the water droplets hit the smoothness of his wings, they rolled down, following the lay of the feathers and gravity to drop off the sides of them, just outside the tub. And because there was a fair amount of height to his wings, added to the height difference between them already, Bast was only getting half the spray that she should have.
Before she had to tell him to pull his wings in, however, he did so himself. Part of her was sorry to see them laid away despite the desire for the coolness of her shower. The rest of her was already plotting the best way to get the most skin to feather contact later.
Which was naughty. She was trying to do a good thing here, helping somebody that was obviously out of their element. It would be totally unfair to take advantage of that. So. She couldn't touch. He could though. Bast didn't think that would be so bad. If Thanatos wanted to touch her, she just wouldn't stop him. And then, if something did happen, she would know she hadn't instigated it.
Conscious suitably clear, she smiled at Than. “I just turned on the water, but I love that it feels like rain. We're going to let the rain cool you off so you're not burning. And then we can do whatever you like.”
She didn't mean that as an invitation or temptation; Bast truly believed in doing whatever she liked, whenever she wanted, as long as nobody got hurt. For all her bluster, outside of a fight, she generally didn't want to cause harm to others. Looking up at her naked, wet, and still grinning guest, she asked with absolute sincerity, “If you could do anything at all right now, what would you want to do?”
