His gaze was unwavering as he took in her appearance under the occasional cracks of lightning that lit up the field they stood in. It was taking her a long time to answer. Maybe she hadn't heard him.
He opened his mouth to repeat the question just as she spoke up.
Her speech was quick and a bit disjointed; but someone who spoke aloud exactly what they were thinking without filtering whatsoever? Basically Thor's idea of a perfect conversationalist. Bragi would maybe differ with that, insisting that conversation required a certain finesse, like it was a bit of a dance. Well Thor couldn't dance either, so really; this worked out just fine.
He reached a hand out reflexively when she stumbled, moving to steady her; but she regained her balance and so he dropped his arm back to his side.
"A Goddess of Death? And Greek?" His brain took a beat before he made the connection "Are you familiar with Thanatos?" Thor knew his friend wasn't exactly the most social, but he figured if they were both Greek, and both in the same business, as it were; they must have known of each other.
It came as a bit of a surprise that the reason she was out in this particular field, during this kind of night; was because she liked to watch storms. A good surprise, though. Anyone who showed appreciation for what he did, indirectly or otherwise; made him pleased.
He gave a hearty laugh when she'd trailed off with a comment about his height.
"Your introduction was just fine. It is a pleasure to meet you, Makaria." He hadn't realized he was the one asking all the questions so far. It wasn't out of an evasiveness; more so just a natural curiosity.
