"I do, but I'm guessing that you too as well," Peitho said, much as she was loathe to admit it especially out loud. Hermes was a rare person and it wasn't all so much that he had other women, goddess, it was.... well that was it wasn't it. Why was she so upset?
Because he made her feel special, like she was the only one, and here and now, she was face to face with evidence that it wasn't true. Were they married? No but neither were they just casual acquaintances. It had been a long time since they had that kind of relationship. And now, not only was she in this place, but Rosmerta was too. It was all just annoying because she didn't like feeling this way and had a feeling it would just go away.
"Hmm you know that sounds like a good idea. Lots and lots of wine. Good thing they have some here."
Peitho followed the other goddess into the stall and tried to smile a bit more. "No, I know. I'm not sure either and I'm feeling a lot of the same things as you are too. Neither of us have a claim on him, and for the most part, I do like the arrangement Hermes and I have. But no I'm not happy and I am mad, and not really with her. Definitely all him."
She watched as the wine was ordered and though she was expecting a glass, having a bottle really wasn't going to be complained about. She waited quietly until Rosmerta was ready to go. "You know, that sounds like a good idea. Being social doesn't really feel right. Let's go find someplace... let's public."
