Through his spiders, Anansi heard the middle of a tale being told. Through it's eight eyes, he saw the little girl and the man that was sitting with her. The story was enough to draw him into that particular spider, and when he was fully there, he realized that the man was another god. The story finished up and Anansi thought that he'd found his first entertainment since coming to Greece. Another deity who told stories? How could he resist?
The spider turned and began to scuttle back down the wall to the floor. As it went, Anansi began to form into a man. The change was fairly quick, but the steps of becoming would be seen. The growth of the spider, the appearance of a face and human-like limbs. A grotesque half man half spider thing, and then finally before he stepped out of the shadows and made himself known to the girl as well as the god, a man with eight arms.
Of course, he could have just gone immediately from one to the other without the grand show, but where was the fun in that? Anansi smiled sweetly at the little Greek child.
"This seems like more than stories." He said, voice filled with gravel. "This is also a game, is it not? Tell me the rules, and I shall gladly play along."
