Makaria almost rolled her eyes. Yes, remind me of how much older you are.
"If I fell you would have caught me, silly." She smiled widely at him, he would have caught her, easily. He did have wings, she might not have had them but he did and when they were together they really could do anything couldn't they?
Makaria tapped her glass to him.
"We used to admire nature, but we're Gods of Death, Than.. we can't help to be drawn to the newest ways mortals find to move and create. Because in the end they're going to jump off that, or crash on it, or fall off it.." It wasn't that she was morbid. Makaria was anything but that.
No, she was just realistic.
"And we'll admire nature again sometime. I hear the Cliffs of Dover are spectacular in the fall." Makaria glanced over at him, the smile never quite leaving her lips.
