Makaria was wearing a skirt and a blouse under the peacoat which fit so well in with this period of time. Not to mention the peacoat kept her warm, not that she ever really felt cold. In fact, Makaria normally felt like the mortal plane was too warm, unless it was snowing. Then she wanted some heavy furs and a roaring fire.
The underworld was weird. In turns it would be hot, and cold. Since Makaria spent most of her time there normally she just didn't feel the seasons unless it was extreme one way or the other.
Still, she smiled when he finally made his way to her. She only looked away from him long enough to look down at the basket, the smile wider now and then looked back up. "That's why we couldn't not be here. We had to see this. It's.. wow. Something right? I really want to go to the top and look down. But not in that crowd. " She didn't need to say why.
