Had he known what thoughts were spinning through her lovely brunette head, talk of flying would have been on the back-burner and he would have whisked her away back to his place. Perhaps that would still happen in their future; Eros certainly wouldn't turn her down. Her emotions shown on her face and he could only imagine what the meaning truly was behind them. She was blushing nicely and that was far too amusing enough.
Eros thought it rather unfair that so many of her own siblings had wings but she didn't, as she had mentioned. He couldn't imagine not having them. He supposed it was just like his own sister. Peitho was a love goddess as well but didn't have her own wings either. But he would share with Philotes; take her flying with him.
It was almost as good as the best thing he knew to do. Someday, he might have to try and combine them.
"Trust me sweetheart, you won't hurt me," he said grinning and picked her up, one arm under her legs so he could carry her. "You're light as a feather to me. Put your arm around my neck and off we go," he explained and even then, lifted up off the ground with her.
