Sigyn listened to the arguments that Odin was making and part of her mind tried to reject the logic. It was not straight forward thinking. It circled around the fact that this was a betrayal of Loki and snuck in sideways to make it seem like a good idea. But Odin's way of looking at it was selfish. It took his feelings into consideration, and if she was being honest, her own. But not Loki's. That was hardly fair to the man she'd promised to marry.
That part of her mind, though, had a quiet voice that was growing quieter by the moment. It was being drowned out by the rush in her ears that came when his lips touched her skin. Somehow, when that happened, all the reasoning that she came up with to argue that this was a bad thing got lost. How could it be bad when it felt good?
And he was right, wasn't he? Being honest was always a good thing. Wasn't that what everybody said? So being honest about the way she felt couldn't be bad either. And she felt... lighter than air, warm and hollow, full of light. Sigyn imagined it must be what a star felt like, and it was amazing. She didn't really want it to end. That was the truth. He was right, they'd grown closer and that wasn't something to be ashamed of.
Little tingles of fire and lightning shivered across her skin, following the trail of his lips. Without conscious effort, her head tilted just slightly, her breath sighing out of her on another soft gasp. He kept making her do that, and she found she rather liked it. And it was just some kisses. How could a kiss cause too much harm?
“Show me, please” she murmured softly. Then, before she could regret it, before she could take it back, Sigyn leaned forward and pressed her mouth to his.
