Kratos wasn't sure what all this was about, really. He'd thought that things had been settled when they'd been taken to Olympus. They were to fight in the war, for Zeus, and then...
Well, then they'd just live, he'd guessed. He hadn't really thought much beyond the war, really. It had been pretty gruesome, and not just because he'd had to hurt people. Kratos really didn't like having to use his strength to hurt people if he could help it. But his siblings were fighting in the war, and he needed to keep them safe. He was strongest, he had to look after them. Especially Zelos and Nike. They seemed to think they were invincible.
Well, Nike kinda was, he supposed, but she could still get hurt. And Zee forgot to look out for himself when he threw himself into things. Bia, well, she was the baby, but she was tough. And she just seemed to bounce through things and come out the other side. Out of all of them, he worried about her the least.
Except now. Right now, he was worried about all of them. Because what he thought was settled apparently wasn't, really. And where was their mom? Shouldn't she be here? This was her idea, for them to come up here and fight and live. Why wasn't she here? It unsettled him that they were seeing Zeus on their own, but they couldn't keep the king waiting. Especially when Zee went ahead and opened the door. There was nothing to do except follow him.
Kray tried to take everything in as he moved forward without looking disrespectful. He didn't want Zeus to think he was dishonoring him or anything. But he'd learned to find all the exits in any situation, and to assess the risks that were posed. Nobody was hurting his brother or sisters. When Zelos took a knee, Kratos followed suit, but he didn't stop looking around. He just tried to be subtle about it.
