She was very sweet in thinking that she should get him an apple too. But that meant having to actually get two apples and the Aesir were rather... protective of Idun, her orchard and her apples. Sneaking one for herself, well, she wasn't the one being punished so it wouldn't likely receive any question. They would just assume the apple was for her. But grabbing two, they would know one was for him, and that wouldn't be allowed.
Loki was looking up at her when she suggested her bringing back that shelf. How was she going to manage all those things and the shelf? She'd get caught and probably not be allowed to come back.
Frigg would see to that, he was sure.
He wasn't quite sure what to say to her. Looking down upon him, he thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world. He'd thought that when he met her and every day after. Especially the day they were married. But her most beautiful moments had been when she was carrying and birthing their children. Children that his actions caused to be taken from them.
“I don't deserve you,” he said quietly. It was a thought he had frequently. He had told Odin as much, and Thor at one point... though Thor wasn't exactly the best one to share meaningful deep conversation with. Loki's actions frequently hurt her, he would see it in her eyes and in the way her brow would furrow. And through it all she had loyally stood by his side. He didn't deserve such loyalty.
