Lei waited as Mitchell got her the drink she asked for. She found herself involuntarily crossing her arms for lack of anything better to do with her hands, giving the appearance that she was either cold or closed off, which wasn't her intent. Calm down, Lei, she told herself, in attempt to get herself to stop acting like an idiot. It didn't seem to work terriby well, unfortunately.
When he handed her the drink, she had to uncross her arms to take it, but at least there she had something to do with her hands. She took the glass from him and took a long sip from the glass immediately as she heard him ask how she'd been. As she lowered the glass from her lips, she shifted slightly, uncomfortable, as she tried to figure out how to answer that question. "I've been..." she started, trying to figure out the best thing to say. "I've been good," she said finally. "There's really nothing new. I'm still working at the same place, still live in the same place." She tilted her head slightly. "How have you been?"
