"I think there is a bookbinder we use, but from what I remember reading that one came to us already published. Some things are collected, some are donations," she explained. The archive was one of the parts of clan business she had been generally less dismissive of even when she was younger, and she had heard even more from the previous librarian who liked having a regular visitor to talk to.
She appreciated that he was taking care with the book. "Like I said, best idea I've got on short notice, but if you want to come back at some later date there might be other stuff. I'm researching language spread not weres so my knowledge is all over the place."
"Technically there isn't a deadline but we generally suggest checking in about once a month. I figure the librarian has contact details for you if you decide to abscond with it," she said, ending with a pointed look.
She looked at the book, remembering how some of the rarer items were marked. "That one isn't delicate, but we don't have a copier here. Don't forget the 5% or one chapter rules if you go somewhere else though," she cautioned. She had to look at the signs about photocopying rules every time she did something from the college libraries and she had apparently internalised enough to recognise Eric wouldn't know it, but not that she should probably explain what she was saying.
