The more the other woman spoke, the more Giulia was pulled out of her anxiety with the smallest measure of amusement that this woman was clearly a Type A Fixer. Not a terrible thing to be, of course, but it wasn't how Giulia herself operated, and her head was positively swimming with the options. She could, at least, appreciate the take charge approach even if it wouldn't be hers.
"It is absolutely absurd and cowardly that having you, a perfect stranger, lovely though you seem, go over and ask is what I'm tempted to go with," she admitted. She couldn't imagine workshopping the conversation; the thought of it made her queasy, but approaching him directly did so as well. Because if he didn't recognize her? If he didn't know her, if he wasn't Dom? She would be mortified at how emotional seeing his likeness had made her.
