It's Christmas Day, no one is reading LJ, I have an abominable cold, and yet somehow I wrote the beginning of a new fic, and here it is.

Set post Not Fade Away, and like the fic I posted last week, its premise is Spike With Amnesia. No idea how lengthy this will be, but a few parts at least.



Note: After realizing I'd posted this in a cold-medicine-induced fog, and that it was full of continuity errors and cut-n-paste fiascos, I've posted a revised version. It's fixed and it's also slightly different, so you might want to reread before proceeding to the next chapter.
