Why: Because Adam needs to escape.
Open: Sure?

Boredem.
He knew he would wind up in trouble before the day was out when he felt the utter frusration settle into the pit of his gut.He knew it because boredem, and being locked up in this..this cage, never went hand in hand very well.More so when the only thing one had for entertainment was to listen to the fellow inmates yell and try to bargain for the freedom which, frankly, was rarely granted anymore.
Sighing he rose, pressing his forhead against the glass and surveying the long hallway, rolling his eyes visably at his 'breathern'as a few flipped hm off, ones he had used before obviously and discarded once he had gotten his way.
"god this place hasnt changed a bit"he grumbled,more to himself then anyone who just happened to be listening.It was times like this he actually missed the coffin,at least their he knew what to expect:endless death.This place though, besides being a giant rotating door for lowlife freaks, was unfamilier.One never knew what would happen anymore. Hell he would have even taken elle at this point, she may have been insane, but at least she gave 'the boys club'something to do besides sit around and look at each other.
Growing restless he turned to pace his cell,something that was starting to become a habit with him lately, as sad as that was.So it took him a few moments to process the strange,dim,sound until the light went out,causing him to look up with a frown.
"what the bloody hell are those idiots doing now?"he mummered,thinking it was perhaps the escape alarm,as he strained his neck to see which of the 'brilliant'captives had tried to bust out this time.
It wasnt until he saw the flicker of red light that he understood what was happening and moved to the door,attempting to open it.After all petrelli wasnt that stupid to let her 'toys'die, at least he hoped not.Not that it mattered, it wasnt like the blasted fire could kill him any,hurt like hell yes, but kill him?hardly.
"Hey, you guard,open the bloody door"he roared as they flew by, pounding on the window to get their attention as they attempted to round everyone up, though most of them were taking down for their troubles and merly stepped over as everyone scrambled to escape, and figure out what was happening
