Elle needed to get out of the apartment! She felt like the walls were about to close in on her. She went out almost daily when she was in Ohio and since she had been there, she had not been out at all. She just needed to escape with Noah and spend some alone time with him without Gabriel or Luke around for a awhile.
Elle had spent most of the morning shopping. She never realized how much she had missed bustle of New York. She was in such a good mood Elle even picked a few items up for Luke. Which should be delivered to the apartment later in the afternoon, but now with Noah in a stroller, she just wanted to soak up the atmosphere that she has missed for over a year.
She decided to show Central Park to Noah, in addition, she figured Noah would like to see sculpture of the story that Gabriel had been bringing to life for him in the past few days since he had been reading Alice in Wonderland for Noah‘s bedtime story.
She made her way to the northern end of Conservatory Water and stopped in front of the sculpture. She moved around to the front of the stroller and picked Noah up. “See there,” she pointed to the center of the sculpture “that Alice, the little girl your Daddy’s been telling you about.”
She moved slightly to her left “And there is the bunny who is always late.” she laughed “I would impersonate the voice, but I am not talented like your father.” she looked over at Noah and gave him an Eskimo kiss, which made him giggle. She swung him over her other hip with ease “And there is the Mad Hatter.” she pointed “I think he’s one of your favorite voice that Daddy does.”
“Mine is the queen.” she told Noah, they both laughed at her statement as she moved the stroller to the side for it wouldn’t be in the way so she could show him the Cheshire Cat, but Elle knocked the diaper bag over in the processes.
