He looked down at her with some amusement when she sat on the ground. He was already almost a foot taller than her and for some reason it just struck him as funny that she'd chosen to sit down. Maybe she was tired of craning her neck to look up at him.
"I was up near Northcrest Downs. I had a small place in the forest." It had been far enough away that he was rarely disturbed, but not more than a day's ride if he needed supplies. For the most part, he'd been content, but it had been a lonely life and as quickly as he was adjusting to life back at the school, he wondered if he hadn't missed it more than he'd thought.
"It's nice to be back, though," he admitted as he settled down on the ground next to her.
