"Be a pleasure to see you out there," he said sincerely. He had a feeling any foal that went to her would be in good hands. Besides that, he was firmly of the mind that everyone should have a horse, and children should be given ponies. They were sturdy things that taught a kid lessons in responsibility and compassion, lessons he thought the world needed a little more of.
"Can't complain," he said. "I'm holdin' up well enough for a fellow my age," he continued with a slight grin. "How's the world treatin' you?" He continued as he watched her.
It was true enough though. He was healthy for the most part, he liked his job and the life he'd lead. With things turning the way they were, might be that his daughter could relax and be herself, and if he ever had any grandkids by her, might be they could grow up in a world that didn't harbor the prejudice against magic this time did.
