Jake lifted his hand in response to her cool greeting, a warm smile spreading across his lips. "Evenin'" he called out to her. While he wasn't inclined to interrupt if she had plans or places to be, he'd be more than happy to chat her up if she was interested.
"Plannin' on coming out to the auctions this weekend?" He called even as he pushed away from the fence to close some of the distance between them. He knew her well enough -- knew who she was, at any rate, and he'd been into the shop a time or two for remedies, both for himself and the horses. He imagined she had an idea who he was, too, but he didn't know how close to the ground she kept her ear and what else she might know -- or have heard.
Still, it was a pleasant enough evening to chat up some of the villagers and shop owners -- especially any that might be interested in horses, or a conversation that didn't revolve around magic.
