Who: Elena and Anna. Open to Tyler?
Where: Park in L.A.
When: After the conversation
What: Plotting murder?
Warnings: Bad language?
Status: Closed except for those listed. Poke if you want to be in.

It hadn’t been hell, not really, but with the arrival of everyone Elena currently despised, it definitely turned into very, very quickly. First, there was Caroline and then Stefan and Katherine. Now, she’d also spotted Damon poking about the network too. Finally, there was Lockwood and Anna, her brother’s ex-girlfriend, fully corporeal here apparently. All of whom she could do without, but supposedly “Hell” had other plans: to stick her with the very persons all trying to bring back the old Elena Gilbert.

Except for Katherine. The bitch was just out to be what she’d always been: a bitch. She tried pushing Elena’s buttons, slipping under her skin with a indirect shot at her deceased brother, Jeremy Gilbert, but Elena maintained her cold, dead composure. It was Katherine who’d killed him, fed him up to Silas on a silver platter, and the immortal being broke his neck. Jeremy was a supernatural and the ring didn’t bring him back. He was gone and along with him, the last shreds of Elena’s humanity and the girl she use to be. With the pain overwhelming her, driving her mad, Damon told her to do exactly what he did: he told her to run away. He ordered her to flip the switch and, being sired to him, she did willingly. Elena burnt down her house and everything inside, including her brother’s body.

Once the brothers realized their mistake, they went after the cure, but Elena wouldn’t have it. She was better this way, stronger and impenetrable to all emotion. No longer was she weak, ruled by her feelings and thoughts for others, but they didn’t understand that. They didn’t give up on her. So, she’d have to do things the hard way: take lives, kill, and never look back. She’d just taken out a waitress when she was pulled here. The brothers obviously hadn’t been far behind. It was annoying. On top of them, Tyler showed up and then Katherine. She didn’t care about killing Katherine, not anymore, but when she told Anna about what happened to Jeremy, the other woman was all about taking out Elena’s ancestor. Naturally, it was something to do and Elena was bored. Killing Katherine was as good, if not better on some levels than killing anyone else and Elena agreed to meet her at the nearest park to discuss how the two would accomplish this goal. Lockwood would trail her, but considering his own feelings for Katherine were less than warm and fuzzy, she was sure he wouldn’t stop them or interfere. Unless, it was to help them.

Approaching the park, the vampire stuffed her hands into the pockets of her jacket and glanced around. It was empty for the moment; there was no sound, no bugs or animals scratching around. It was truly dead here. The silence clearly eerie for anyone who could be scared or feel, but Elena didn’t care. It was a setting, a place, and that was all. Picking up on the sounds of nearly silent footsteps, Elena turned on her heel, peering through the darkness with keen, clear sight. “Anna?”

One corner of her mouth turned up slightly at Elena's remark. Somehow she seriously doubted Elena cared one way or the other if Anna had shown up or not. Not if her emotions were turned off. And she had a feeling that if they hadn't been turned off, Elena wouldn't have been so quick to jump on the murder bandwagon. She just wasn't the type. Not really. Hell if Elena hadn't turned off her emotions, she probably never would have agreed to meet up with Anna at all. It wasn't like there was a lot of lost love between them. Or any for that matter.

She was still somewhat unsure what to make of the fact that Elena was now a vampire. The last time she'd seen the young woman, she'd been warning Jeremy that he was holding onto something that could never be. And she'd been right. It had been what prompted Anna to leave that night in Mystic Falls. Even if she hadn't met up with her mom shortly after, she would've left Jeremy alone for good. No matter how alone she was. Five hundred plus years of unlife and she'd been in love with exactly one person.

And now he was dead. Because of her maker.

She didn't flinch or move when Elena moved close, getting in Anna's personal space. They were about to start planning a murder, after all. "Definitely," she answered without hesitation, her voice also quiet. She was fairly certain between the two of them -- and the possible addition of Tyler Lockwood -- they could take Katherine out once and for all. And that was exactly what Anna wanted. She wondered if there was any vervain in the city. Something that would help weaken Katherine so they could get the job done. She'd have to look into that. "Katherine's smart. And she's older than both of us, which means she's also strong. We'll have to be smarter and more careful."

As far as Elena was concerned, the odds were still very much in their favor. Anna was nearly as strong as Katherine and while Elena was still a new vampire, not even a year, there were two of them and one of Katherine Pierce. If they double teamed her, there was a good chance they would come out victorious in this fight, but they had to work together. Elena wasn't stupid; Damon and Stefan couldn't even take out Katherine. Still, maybe their determination trumped the brothers twofold.

"She is, but she's also cocky and at times, overconfident. She doesn't take us seriously," Elena replied with a shrug of her shoulders. "As far as I know, she has no allies here either. Not that she was ever good at playing with others anyway." The other vampire was a user for sure; if she had a partner, they were as good as thrown under the bus most likely. Elijah had been the difference, but Elena believed Katherine cared for Elijah more so than she let out.

"I say we just trap her somewhere, torture her, and then kill her." The torture part came out of left field, but Elena was bored and this was sure to take up more time, right? Besides, why should she get quick and easy. "It'd be fun. It's not like she deserves quick and easy anyway."

Anna was hoping the odds were in their favor, but she knew Katherine far too long, and far too well to underestimate her. She couldn't help but think that Damon and Stefan kept failing to take her out because they weren't properly motivated to do so. Maybe they were both still hung up on her in some weird way. She never pretended to understand the Salvatores. She didn't really care to for that matter.

Elena was right about that, and she wasn't surprised the brunette had come to the same conclusion that she had. "Agreed. Her arrogance is a weak spot." But she wasn't entirely sure about the allies part. "Elijah is here, too." But she was pretty sure Elena knew that. Anna wasn't sure how Elijah would take them killing Katherine, but frankly she didn't care that much about that, either. If he came after them, what could he do? Stake her again?

Elena's suggestion of torturing Katherine genuinely surprised her and she arched an eyebrow. It wasn't that she was against the idea of causing Katherine a lot of physical pain. In fact, she didn't mind it at all. Why should she get off so easily, after everything she'd done? Anna had never actually tortured anyone before. She'd never been interested in causing someone pain for the sake of causing pain. But Katherine wasn't just anyone. "Sure. Why the hell not? She deserves it." She shrugged. If Elena wanted to torture Katherine, she certainly wasn't going to stop her.

Apparently that old saying was true: the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Or at the very least, an ally, no matter how temporary.
