Molly supposed she could have thrown up a veil to mask her presence, but she hadn't. Perhaps she'd wanted to be seen, even though she told herself she hadn't wanted to be seen. She longed for someone to talk to, outside of Harry and Alex. She cared for them both, but she wasn't sure exactly where she stood with Harry and the whole agents of Winter thing they had going on back home, and with Alex so recently turned into a vampire, she felt a little awkward there too. She had no idea who or what she was faced with now, but maybe this person would turn out normal, whatever that meant.
"No, it's all right. I'm sorry to bother you," Molly stated. Her eyes flickered to the sword, then back up to the woman's face, expertly avoiding eye contact. Soulgazing was not high on Molly's list of favorite past-times.
