Wow, this is amazing!! The art is just gorgeous; I love the composition, the way you've overlaid images and text to create an emotional impact. The third panel is very striking and suggests both the passage of time and the whirlwind of desire between them. And wow to the last panel. Very well done!

Thank you, yay! I really appreciate what you say about the third panel in particular, because that's completely what I was going for and I'm so glad the passage of time part came through as well as the emotional/physical mess of it all :).

Brilliant! This was so well done. Your artwork is beautiful, and it had a great plot. I love the picture-postcard scenes from the first panel, the blended images in the third. The fourth is probably my favourite - I really like Harry, Ginny and Draco's expressions. And Scorpius! He is too cute.

The one thing I would change is the font, something neutral would have been better. But wow, good job!

Thank you so much! I'm completely thrilled to hear that a plot came through - there's always that struggle to try and convey a story without spelling everything out, y'know?

I did have concerns about the font :). When picking a font, I usually end up cycling through between twenty or thirty different types, narrowing it down as I get an idea of what sort of feel I want. I kept coming back to this one. In this case, it was a conscious choice to go for the slightly unbalanced and chaotic look of this font over legibility, the unprettiness of it - it was more a visual thing than a content thing, if that makes sense?

I ran it past my team to check that it was still readable, but I do know a couple of people had trouble with browser settings, or something - something that shrank the image somehow and rendered it impossible to see the words. No idea how that works - I can only really go by my own monitor, which is big, fairly hi-res, and bright :).

For you, was the font intrusive in style, or was it more of a legibility issue?

You're welcome! And yeah, I totally understand that difficulty. Not that I've ever done fan art, but in my own stuff.

It was stylistic for me. When you have art that's so strong, I would make the text a bit more neutral to balance it out. Also, because of the way the some letters are enlarged in the font, it conjured up unfortunate associations with people wHo TyPe lIkE tHiS online. Something a little ornate is probably good (I mean, certainly you don't want it in Arial or Verdana), but if you are going to go with a trendy-type font, I'd pick one without the differing letter sizes - I've seen ones that have a similar feel, but less random caps-ness.
I understand why you chose that, though, and it's not a big deal overall.

Thanks for replying to my comment!

OMG Harry looking over his shoulder at the end, that look in his eye. YA! All their positions the complete detail in this. Great work.

Oh, I loved this! Fantastic composition and story line; the blending of text and art has been done really well. The art itself is gorgeous - fantastic job!

Oh, thank you! I always angst so much about the text - worry it won't look right, worry it'll get in the way, worry I'll fail to convey any sort of narrative sense - I'm so happy to hear it worked for you :).

That was gorgeous. The flow of coins in the second panel, and Draco's smile in the last... all so lovely!

Thank you so much! I'm really happy that Draco's smile came through when it's mostly off the side of the page - it might've been one of my favourite parts :).

WOW! So many years and so much story in only a few scenes! Double wow.
I had chills (along with everyone else) at the sight of that last image.
So well done!
I love the photo album showing us cheery happy potters while things were falling apart for them. Also loved how the coins were used, and the possession that came shining out of Harry for his family, and for Draco.

Chilling yet romantic. Dude, how did you pull that off? :D

Man, d'you know how much your last line made me squee? "Chilling yet romantic"?! That's freaking awesome! Straight out romance isn't my thing, so that thrilled me :).

Thank you so much for an awesome and thoughtful comment :D.

Yes, you were a sneaky lil' thing on this one! Good job on that. Good job on the artwork. And, damn it, good job on making squee over a Team Epilogue post 'cause we all know I completely hate Ginny.

Hahah, poor Ginny - she gets so much loathing for being in the way of Harry shagging the right menfolk :). Harry/Ginny is such a strange pairing to me! So confusing and left-fieldish! Heck, I would've thought Luna made more sense :) But I do like trying to fit things into canon (hence Epilogue being my first-choice team) :).

Urgh, yes. Dear Ginny: you look like my dead Mum, and I miss her so much. Plus, I'm crazy about your family, and if I marry you, I get to have YOUR mum and dad as MY mum and dad. Two mums! Hurray! Let's breed!

Ack, ack, ack. I've read some really lovely fanon Harry/Ginny stuff (often in the context of Snarry, actually!), but it just doesn't work for me as it stands in the books. That girl needs fleshing out.

Wow. Beautiful and awesome. I love this so damn much. And not just because BDSM, especially consensual BDSM, is my biggest kink. *loves*

That last panel. Mmmm...
