Ok, so that was phenomenal.

I don't even rememember the last time a story felt less like fanfic to me-as much as I have a lingering soft spot for H/D, and as much as I enjoyed the handling of it here, this particular story didn't feel to me a romance, but rather an unflinching, in turns heart wrenching and humorous, but most importantly *real* look at Harry's life coming apart. I loved the mix with the magical and mystery aspects with the little, almost mundane, details.

I loved everyone characterisations-all the adults were just different enough from their younger selves to account for the passage of time and life experience, yet still true to their canon selves. The kids were brilliant too-I especially liked your take on Albus Severus.

I can't believe you killed Godric though. That was just cruel! :P
