I don't really comment much, but I had to tell you how much enormous love I have for this story. This is how I see Draco (after he's learned how to not say out loud every piece of abuse that springs into his mind when he's cross).
I loved how character driven it was. The decisions and choices they made were made because they were them. Other people would have done things differently. Draco would rather continue to suffer than accept Harry's help, but Harry digs his heels in, and that's that. I also love Draco's relationship with Pansy. It's both amusing and heartbreaking at the same time. The imagery throughout is just lovely.
It's wonderful to read such a totally engaging story that that can be horrific and heart-rending, and still have you grinning most of the way through.
