Author's Notes: This is from Draco's POV of his first meeting with Harry at Madam Malkin's Robes For All Occasions. (Pg. 59-61, UK Edition)
The true beginning of their relationship, IMO.
Draco didn't know who this strange boy was.
He couldn't hold a decent conversation. He said he was a pureblood but at the same time seemed confused by broomsticks, Quidditch and Hogwarts houses. He seemed to know about the origins of the Hogwarts gamekeeper, but nothing about the world they lived in. None of it made sense to him.
Draco didn't know who this strange boy was. But as Harry Potter walked out of the shop -- skinny framed, bright eyed, tousle haired and bewildered by his surroundings -- he was left with a single thought.
"I saw him first."
