Hi, this is slumber_8's writing journal. Just in case you wonder. :P
Title: Red and Green
Word Count: 100.
Characters/Pairings: Harry and Draco
Summary: Sometimes, even the end can be the beginning.
Author's Notes: Not sure it turned out the way I wanted it to.
There was red everywhere.
The sky bled crimson, because those who died that day didn’t. Fiery swipes spilled over from the last rays of the sun, as on the open field on the earth below wizards fell to Unforgivables.
“I told you I’d have you,” Draco smirked mirthlessly, voice edged with bitter red anger, Death Eater mask torn away.
“Maybe in the next life,” Harry replied, “We could be on the same side.”
“Maybe there wouldn’t be sides.” They both drew out their wands. The blinding green light washed over all the red, wiping everything clean.
For the next life.
Title: Alternatively
Word Count: 100.
Characters/Pairings: Harry and Draco
Summary: It could have started then.
Author's Notes: Er, I have no words. LOL. Just general hints of angst. Hints, not outright stuff. And I like drabbling. :)
Even now, seven years after, his first day at Hogwarts still etched itself clearly in Draco’s mind. That was where it began, where things could have been different, and seven years of calculations and numerous branching out of possibilities later, Draco knew how things could have changed. He’d had three chances.
If he’d been friendlier at Madam Malkim’s, maybe introduced himself then.
If he’d been at the station at just the right time, maybe seen him first.
If he’d said something more polite and civil in that compartment, then maybe...
Maybe Harry could have taken his hand when he’d offered.
