JACKS.
I was thinking about what Caroline wrote last post, specifically about the burner phones. And something isn't sitting right with me that Lucy and (allegedly) Michael Murray were the ones using them. They had this portal, presumably, that facilitated a secret correspondence that was only just now discovered so switching from a more secure to a less secure method doesn't make sense. We know @wh0killedlucy believes Lucy was murdered because she was aware of the embezzlement. We know an expensive-looking diamond L was found at the scene of the murder.

What if the burner phone was how Lucy was communicating with the murderer/embezzler/mustached and/or ginger man? Do you think she was blackmailing him perhaps and that led to the motivation to murder her? We know these men were on campus more than once (the night Lucy was on campus and the event Nate Johnson spied on them and overheard a mention of Vicky) so it's not outside the realm of possibility that they were on campus the night Nate went missing. If he decided to spy on them again and was spotted it would be a good motivation.

I don't know. I'm just trying to think of a better reason for a burner phone that would tie in with embezzlement and murder and the potential for blackmail seems more likely than a romantic tryst, I suppose?

DAVE.
You're going to end our friendship, but Tony Stark is the true villain of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Change my mind.

After going to the police with our information Theodore and I believe that it is prudent to prepare for financial retaliation, re: the alumni. We're going to come up with plans for dealing with a stripped or non-existent budget.

The news today has been a lot to take in. I hope it brings the Rohrbach and Johnson families much needed peace.

I hope everyone will join Fog and Dagger and OGF tomorrow for the end of summer blow-out.

KNIGHTS.
No matter what happens, I'm proud of us.

THEODORE.
We did the right thing.
