Character's Background- Susan was named after her Aunt Amelia, whose middle name is Susan. At a young age, Susan was passed along the news that her Uncle Edgar and his family were killed by a death eater. Since that age, Susan has decided that she will (someday) join the team to destroy Voldemort and his supporters. Susan is categorized by her peers mainly as the girl who is not afraid to say Voldemort's name. In Hufflepuff, it is hard to come by a student who does not fear the name itself. Susan is strong-willed, eager, and determined. She is a very loyal and trustworthy friend. The sorting hat even considered putting her into Gryffindor for her valiance and courage. But Susan's heart and faith placed in her Hufflepuff, where she comfortably stays. Susan rarely sees her parents due to the fact that they are both highly accomplished aurors and are usually on missions in different locations. She keeps severl of their photographs on her bed post and hopes that someday Voldemort will fall and there will be generally no need to such top-secret missions. Until then, Susan leads the life of an average Hogwarts Student, attempting to not be so average.
Why do you think you'd be good as this character?- I like the fact that Susan just seems so delicately innocent. She isn't malicious like Draco, but instead she's kind hearted and true. She's a different kind of a character for me to take on.

Susan’s Herbology class had just been dismissed and she really had nothing to do. This time was her break, a time in which she could freely do what she wanted. It usually took her about twenty minutes to decide what she wanted to do, and by then, it was usually too late to do it. Just now she stared at the ceiling, biting her lip and contemplating what today’s ordeal was going to consist of. After a few moments, she heard loud, stomping footsteps and relocated her gaze from the ceiling to what was bounding toward her. There ran her younger brother, Dylan, his hair a mess and his books sloppily bound and tucked under his right arm.
“Dylan!” she exclaimed, picking him and up giving him a messy kiss on the cheek. Dylan was very short and skinny for his age, so picking him up was no feat.
“Lemme down, Susie!” he yelled, squirming in her grasp. She placed him on the ground and he fixed his shirt and necktie, which had become discombobulated in the commotion.
“Where have you been? I haven’t seen you for about a week,” she said, a concerned look on her face.
“I’ve been around. We aren’t in the same house, Susie. It’s kind of hard for me to go looking for you every day just for a friendly chat,” he said sarcastically.
“Well. No matter. Where are you off to so hurriedly? We have a break at the current moment, you can’t be late for anything,” Susan said, habitually shifting her weight.
“Uhm… Er…” he mumbled, playing with the belt that bound his books together.
“Dylan. Please, please don’t tell me that you have detention with Professor Snape again,” Susan said, her eyes pleading to Dylan.
“Don’t tell Mom, Susie! I know you talk to her using the Floo Network every once in awhile.” Dylan said.
“Dylan, I can’t baby you like this! Get your act together, okay? This is the third detention you’ve had with Professor Snape, and you’ve only been here for a total of five months!” Susan knelt so that she was eye level with Dylan, and placed her hands on his shoulders. He shook his shoulders furiously so as to shake off Susan, and took a step back.
“I’m not a baby, Sus. You treat me like one. What I do in my house is my business, you aren’t Mom. And you need to stop pretending like you are,” Dylan said, turning and walking furiously away from her.
Susan went to say something in retort, but she decided against it. Instead she just watched him hobble along, off to another punishment. She knew it wasn’t her fault that he had become so rebellious, but she couldn’t help blaming herself. After all, she should have taken initiative to raise Dylan properly and instill a sense of discipline in him. However, despite all of her guilty feelings, Susan couldn’t help but feel relieved. Dylan had turned out okay. A little renegade, but okay nonetheless. At that moment, Susan realized that her parent’s whereabouts didn’t matter now, because if Dylan was okay, she was going to be okay, too.

Character's House and Year- Hufflepuff/4th
Character's PB (Played-By ie: Actor/Actress)- Chace Crawford
Where did you find out about this community?- My friend, Gail.
Do you have any experience RPing?- A lot. For specifics, just ask.
Character's Background- Zacharias, or better known as Zach Smith, was born the angel-child of his family. Always considered the best-behaved at home, Zach’s parents have adored him since day one. Manipulative and convincing, he has gotten things out of his parents on countless occasions. At school, he is not different. Although he comes off as the innocent and nice kid, he’s actually quite persuasive and tends to “get around.” But most girls don’t mind being abused by Zach, as he is handsome and “worth” it. Zach is considered by almost all his peers to be a lost cause, as he has been deemed cocky, conceited, and a “real jerk.” But Zach does have a few good friends, and he is smart enough not to mess that part of his life up. His Hufflepuff friends that have been there for him since day one will always be his main friends. They have stuck with him, despite his constant attempts to hit on them (the girls, at least). [Gail and I have devised a plotline for Zach and Susan to get together at some point…I’m just going to check to make sure that’s okay with you guys?]
Why do you think you'd be good as this character?- Zach is a lot like a younger version of me. When I was fourteen, I was very manipulative and enjoyed getting with girls and leaving them. I’ve obviously learned the wiser, which is why I want to take Zach to make him a better person. [Who I made a bad person to begin with ]

Jake sat quietly on the stairs of his old house, smoking a cigarette. A carton of these cigarettes had been given to Zach by a muggle whom he had spent a large amount of time around in the summers he spent at home. He felt it strange to be smoking a muggle cigarette, but he thoroughly enjoyed the sensation he received from such an action. He began to think about his time with the muggle boy, so long ago. Zach closed his eyes and with another drag, began to relive some of that memory.
Two young boys, aged around ten, sat outside of a small shack, their hair rugged and their clothes beaten. They had been out in the sun all month, or so it seemed, because their skin was a dark tan. One boy turned to the other and grinned. He happened to be missing a few teeth.
“Zach, what if I jump off this roof?” the one boy said to the other, looking up at the roof to the shack. Shingles were barely attached to the weathered roof, and it had a gaping hole towards the back.
“If you stay alive long enough to do it, then do it,” the other boy, a younger Zach, said to his friend. The friend then proceeded to climb onto the roof. He slipped on a shingle that had broken loose and came falling to the ground, his head about to smash into a nearby boulder, when he was suspended in midair. Zach’s eyes widened. He had stood up to try to catch his friend, but instead the muggle boy was floating mid-air.
“Zach you saved me!” the boy said as he placed his feet on the ground.
“I didn’t-“ Zach was interrupted by his mother running outside.
That was many years ago, fourteen year-old Zacharias thought, reminding himself of the day where his mother finally told him that he was a wizard. She said that his grandmother could practice magic as well, and that she had seen signs of wizardry in Zach for quite a long time. Zacharias shook his head with a smile. He missed his mother dearly, as she had passed on just a month before he began to attend Hogwarts. But Zach is not one to become melancholy when thinking about the dead. Instead he fills his head with the love and good memories spent with whomever it happens to be. After finishing the cigarette, he threw the butt into the air and made it vanish.
Okay voting staff, do your thing! :D
