Who: Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger
When: Evening
Where: Hermione's house
Summary: Ron visits Hermione who is alone in her house.
Rating: Possibly medium to high.
Ron Apparated not far from Hermione's neighborhood into a darkened alley. He already had the area memorized and knew which were the best places to use magic concealed from Muggles, and despite his having to walk a bit to reach Hermione's house, it was as close as he could get without being spotted. The walk, however, gave him some time to think, even if he seemed to be hurrying along, tiny beads of sweat dotting his flushed forehead and patchy red cheeks. For the better part of their relationship, Hermione and Ron had remained almost as friends, going on dates and occasionally kissing. Yet, things had never gotten really heated, much to Ron's chagrin.
Of course, a lot of it had to do with the fact that they were all still at Hogwarts, which had bothered Ron for most of the year. And then, they'd had that stupid argument before graduating, which made most of the summer nearly unbearable to exist without her. For seven years, it had been Harry, Ron and Hermione, completely inseparable. And even when they couldn't see each other, they always tried to keep in constant communication with each other. This summer was different. With Ron and Hermione not being on speaking terms and school finally over, it was rare to catch the famous trio all together again. It was a real tragedy, until Ron and Hermione finally broke the silence.
Ron climbed up the steps to Hermione's house, only just realizing he had arrived. He had been too lost in his thoughts to really know where he was going, only that his feet were guiding him and that even unconsciously, they always managed to lead him straight to her. He rapped on the door with his knuckles and took a step back, filling his lungs with air before releasing it slowly. He wasn't about to get his hopes up. He knew Hermione, and he knew her well. If she was going to keep him waiting, there would be no stopping her. But maybe... just maybe he could persuade her to have a little fun with his undeniable Weasley charms.
