"He was quite crap as a Prefect to be honest," She agreed, her fingers gently probing her cheek. When Neville was looking away, she tugged up her shirt enough to see her stomach, just for a moment - her skin was red, and looked close to bruises. It had only been a second, so she put her shirt back down and continued evaluating her face.
"Er..."
Ginny looked at herself. There were scrapes on her cheek, and what looked like the beginnings of a black eye, and she would definitely bruise. These things would be easy to fix in the Hospital Wing - she had received worse on the Quidditch Pitch - but for some reason, she didn't want them fixed.
"No. I don't think I will." She said, staring at herself in the mirror, "I'm not going to hide. I'm going to wear these bruises, fuck Pansy Parkinson."
