Sydni would have agreed about living too long. She had always thought that was the saddest thing, about characters like the Highlander, or Angel. Living beyond everyone. It was something that made her sad, now, when she thought of it, which she didn't often. She would live longer, too. Though not near as long as a vampire.
"I would be." Sydni loved stories. She could definitely have sat and listened to her grandparents spin yarns for hours and hours. It was really her mother who told stories, though, about when she was a child. And to know the men and women who had changed history beyond what history recorded... That was still an incredible idea to her.
Sydni was confused at his sigh. Why would he be reluctant to teach her about what he loved? If anyone had asked her about sharks, she would have gone on for hours without a second thought. In fact, she had with Serghei. "You wouldn't." She was sure of that. "And I asked you. I don't think it would feel like that. And I'm sure there will be disagreements, but that's too be expected, don't you think? And even then, I think I learn from that just as much. Disagreeing, I mean." And it wasn't necessarily that she'd disagree, but she would have questions. Things she'd see from a different point of view. But that didn't mean she wouldn't be able to see it from Miklos's point of view, too. Sydni was good that - multiple viewpoints. To finish her argument, Sydni added, "I was raised Catholic, too, so it's not as if I don't know the basis of what we'll be talking about."
